Amit is a Digital Workforce Evangelist leading the Global Center of Excellence for Robotics and Intelligent Automation at ING. In his current role, he enables around 20 of ING’s units implementing RPA across the globe, provides framework & governance, selects and procure right tools and provides the futuristic view. Previously he has worked as a consultant for over 10 years advising financial companies on their digital transformation. Amit is also involved in the startup and innovation ecosystem since 2012. He has worked with many Startups, Venture Capitals, Angels investors, Corporate Ventures and startup accelerators. Amit grew up in India and is a trained technologist. He studied business in Spain and has lived and worked in over five countries. He is a running enthusiast and a marathoner, lives in Amsterdam with his family.
The Pop in Your Job...
I feel like I have a magic wand called RPA.
In general RPA is underrated at any enterprise (at least so far) and I observe people hesitate to buy into the promise of RPA. But, what I love is that how quickly I can make people change their minds, this may take sometimes only a few minutes me explaining them some of the use cases, sometimes a meeting to demo robots and walking them through the business case and showing promising returns in a very short frame of time. And most of the time just helping them build their first robots in a few days. Many of those same people have acknowledged that RPA can also solve real problems for them. In those moments, I feel that the wand really works. This motivates me to go on and spread the magic touch to more and more people and teams.
